We are a young consulting company that is starting its business in Portugal.

We are recruiting professionals to work for one of our clients established in the USA, with offices in Portugal.

What you’ll do:

Build leading-edge IIoT technology with an emphasis on building the backend (our main stack includes C# and React)
Design microservice architecture, ensuring security, high-availability, resilience, and scalability
Manage the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process: develop, ship, measure, and maintain backend services
Work with relational and non-relational databases
Conduct design and code reviews
Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to optimize product designs for flexibility and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug, and prioritize relentlessly to resolve complex issues as needed

What you’ll need to succeed:

Hands-on experience (ideally 2+ years) building leading-edge technology with an emphasis on developing the backend using more than one object-oriented programming language (C#, .NET, Python etc.)
Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth environment, such as a start-up, and skilled in writing clean code, following best practices, and providing excellent test automation coverage
Experience with DevOps & Continuous Integration tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.)
Cloud computing experience (Azure, AWS, etc.)
Knowledgeable and adept in Agile methodologies
A keen eye for detail and an innate drive to improve the 'status quo'
Proficient in written and spoken English
