🧭 About Me

"Be a pilot of your dreams. Own your head. Never let others put words where there are no ideas — or ideas where you never wanted a word."

I'm Davi Reis, a developer, CTO, and someone who believes technology is only worth building when it creates a real future.

I started coding young and never let go of the idea of building intelligent systems that remove friction from people's lives. I went through paths of hacking, product, automation, AI, infrastructure, and UX until I realized something simple: career is one of the most broken systems we have — and no one was fixing it properly.

Today I'm Co-Founder & CTO at Refer (https://tryrefer.com), where we're flipping the entire recruiting model upside down. In our world, talent doesn't “apply” — they're represented. And the navigation between jobs, companies, and opportunities is done by a career agent (Lia) who understands preferences, opens doors, and orchestrates intros with decision makers.

It's not just matching.
It's a new protocol for professional mobility.

⚙️ What I Build

Day to day, I design and ship systems that combine:

  • AI & Recommendation Systems
  • Scalable Infrastructure (AWS / Docker / Terraform)
  • Experience-Oriented Products (Next.js + UX)
  • Orchestration & Intelligent Automation
  • Data-Driven Processes for decision making

I enjoy environments where technical, product, and business decisions intertwine — and where builders can test, measure, iterate, and ship. That's what we do at Refer every day: on the candidate side, the company side, and through our own AI agent.

🎯 What Drives Me

I believe that:

  • AI should enhance human decisions, not replace them.
  • Great experiences are inevitably simple.
  • Purpose doesn't need to be mystical — it needs to be useful.
  • Products are world theses translated into code.

The big dream at Refer is that, a few years from now, people will look back and say:

“Wow, remember when we had to manually apply for jobs?”

And laugh.
Just like we laugh about calling a taxi on the phone.
